The arena show will be coming to Vienna in the spring of 2027.

“OVO,” Cirque du Soleil’s acclaimed arena show, offers a fast-paced, colorful, and humorous kaleidoscope of outstanding artistic perfection. The world of insects, with its immense diversity, provides an ironic blueprint for the action on stage, which resembles a hive of acrobatics and comedy. The grand, high-contrast swarm of performers in dazzling costumes against vibrant backdrops is a delightful treat for the whole family. “OVO,” which redefines the limits of the human body, will also be performing in Hanover, Frankfurt, Bremen, Hamburg, Vienna, Leipzig, Cologne, and Nuremberg in the spring of 2027.

The audience is plunged headfirst into a cosmos teeming with life. Loud, turbulent scenes alternate with quiet, emotional moments. A mysterious, giant egg poses a riddle for all the actors, performers, and clowns in their insect costumes and characters. Massive crickets are catapulted into the air from a trampoline, and a hypnotic spider contorts itself in its web until it’s unrecognizable.

“OVO,” which means “egg” in Portuguese, is a timeless symbol that runs like a common thread through the spectacle. Amid all the crawling and flying creatures, love naturally plays a central role when the formidable ladybug falls for the lively, mysterious fly. And as always with Cirque du Soleil, “OVO” is packed with extraordinary artistic feats.

Fifty-three acrobats and musicians create a spectacle that challenges the imagination. “OVO” has already captivated over 10 million people in 47 countries.

Children under the age of 3 are not permitted entry. Children aged 3 to 13 may only attend when accompanied by a parent/legal guardian or an authorized supervising adult (at least 18 years old).

Everyone entering the event, regardless of age, must have their own ticket.
