Paris, 1941. Pablo Picasso is abducted from his favorite café and summoned to a vault for questioning. His interrogator: Miss Fischer, an attractive cultural attaché from Berlin. Her mission is to determine whether certain drawings that have fallen into the hands of the occupying forces were actually created by Picasso. The Ministry of Propaganda is planning an exhibition, and only the artist himself can confirm their authenticity. When Picasso discovers the true reason behind the interrogation, a psychologically sophisticated and thrilling duel unfolds between the two, with a constant stream of new and surprising twists. “A Picasso” is an extremely entertaining game of cat and mouse about the meaning of art, politics, eroticism, and truthfulness.
