• What’s included in the ticket price? A cruise on the Danube, an evening buffet, and live music. Beverages are not included and are ordered à la carte on board.
• How does check-in and boarding work? Boardingtakes place at the Vienna / Reichsbrücke pier. The boat departs on time. An e-ticket on your phone is sufficient.
• Are there assigned seats? Yes , reserved seats; the crew will show you to your seats on board.
• Can we sit together as a group? Of course . The onboard catering staff will do their best to arrange seating before the cruise based on group sizes. Groups will be seated together whenever possible.
• Buffet, Allergens & Special Requests (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free)? Dinner is served as a buffet. There are vegetarian and vegan options; common allergens are labeled. Please notify us in advance of any food intolerances at info@donaucatering.at so we can accommodate your requests as best as possible.
• Are drinks included? No. You can order drinks à la carte from the service team on board.
• What payment methods are accepted on board? Generally , card payments (debit/credit) and contactless payments, as well as cash. Should there be any last-minute changes, the crew on board will inform you.
• Is the event accessible? The ship and station are generally accessible. Please let us know in advance (wheelchair/assistance needed) so the crew can provide appropriate support and arrange suitable seating.
• Can I take photos or videos? Personal photos and short video clips are welcome, provided you do not use a flash. Professional photography and the use of tripods require prior approval.
• Do the cruises take place in bad weather? Yes, the cruise takes place in all weather conditions. The route and deck access may be adjusted depending on the weather.
• Can I bring my dog? On themed cruises with a buffet and show, pets are allowed only after prior consultation. Service dogs are, of course, exempt.

• How do I get to the pier by public transit? Take the U1 to Vorgartenstraße, exit at “Vorgartenstraße,” and follow the signs for “Reichsbrücke / Schifffahrt.” It’s about a 5-minute walk across the Reichsbrücke to the pier.
