Frederik has magically transported himself away. He’s the most surprised by this himself. Actually, he’d only wanted to tease his two sisters a little. Now he’s suddenly lying here, relaxing on the soft, mossy meadow in the shade of a huge tree. Indeed: Frederik has been transported to an ancient forest, where they’ve been eagerly awaiting a visitor from the human world. For this small land, with its untouched nature and mysterious forest, is in danger—and Frederik, of all people, seems to be the hero they’ve been waiting for. An exciting and touching adventure with Leila, the forest girl, and Izui, a colorful mythical creature, unfolds and completely changes Frederik’s life.
*A Very Special Day—News from the Tree* was created to mark the International Year of Forests 2011 and tells the story of how important it is to listen to nature and how easy it can be to be happy.
