An evening about Viennese culture and people. The stars of “Schnell-Ermittelt,” Katharina Straßer and Wolf Bachofner, join pianist Bela Koreny to explore the essence of Vienna through songs and texts.

What is Vienna, really? Have you ever asked yourself that? Vienna is different. But what kind of city is it where it’s considered good form to be “grumpy”? From the cemetery to the coffeehouse, between a melange and a spritzer, from the Giant Ferris Wheel to the basement theater—a city in between and right in the middle of it all.

Katharina Straßer, who enjoyed great success with “My Fair Lady,” “The Blue Angel,” and “The Threepenny Opera,” embarks on a journey with Wolf Bachofner—known from “Kommissar Rex” and the Kobersdorf Summer Festival—and Bela Koreny, an internationally acclaimed pianist and composer, into a world full of love, pleasure, and death.
