With her traditional New Year’s concert, Großmütterchen Hatz once again kicks off the new year with danceable rhythms, exuberant enthusiasm, and musical journeys through Eastern and Southeastern Europe. For many years now, the band has been inviting special guests to join them, continually expanding their distinctive musical universe that blends tradition, improvisation, and contemporary interpretation.

This year’s guest musician is Jasna Sandic. The singer and performer blends the musical traditions of the Balkans with those of her current home, Austria, bringing songs full of longing, joie de vivre, and narrative power to the stage. Together, they create an evening that playfully transcends borders and makes music a shared language.

As always, there will be dancing, celebrating, and a lively start to the new year together!
