Kevin Seddiki and Mateus Donato work together to create a rare sonic alchemy between the classical guitar and the six-string cavaquinho. Much like a four-hand piano duet, the two instruments share the musical space, shifting effortlessly between deep bass lines and crystal-clear melodies, while unfolding a surprisingly wide variety of timbres and playing techniques.

With virtuosity and a sense of lightness, the two musicians navigate a repertoire ranging from Bach to the Beatles and the masters of Brazilian choro. At times orchestral and multi-layered, at other times intimate and almost fragile, they create musical spaces in which the two instruments constantly encounter one another anew, circling around each other and intertwining.

Carried by a palpable musical intimacy, Kevin Seddiki and Mateus Donato develop an open dialogue between composition and improvisation. A concert full of poetic precision, rhythmic sophistication, and boundless joy in playing—far beyond the familiar boundaries of chamber music.
