To honor the tireless efforts of local policymakers to do away with rational standards, the satirical magazine *Die Tagespresse* is once again awarding the “Gottfried Waldhäusl Prize for Exceptional Contributions to Real-Life Satire” this year. This time, and for the first time ever, the event will be held live. The gala ceremony will be hosted by cabaret artist Tereza Hossa. This year, the audience in the hall will decide who wins the coveted Waldhäusl trophy—along with a one-month trial subscription and a strictly regulated 10-percent discount coupon—through a grassroots, democratic live vote.
