From the classical Spanish guitar to the Fender Stratocaster, from the Dobro to the ukulele to the jazz archtop; from Renaissance and Baroque to rock, from Latin and folk to jazz, Bach, Beethoven, Santana, Jimi Hendrix, John McLaughlin/Paco DeLucia/Al Di Meola, and—Mario Berger.
A highly personal blend unlike anything that has come before. Like a painter, Mario Berger unfolds soundscapes into which one can surrender without hesitation and let oneself be carried away.
With “Guitarras Mágicas,” the guitar virtuoso ventures into completely uncharted territory by uniting a wide variety of styles into one—his – language. Avoiding all clichés, without fear of contact, without blinders—but with tremendous emotional devotion, love, and virtuosity.
