With “moloch,” woschdog—described by *Falter* as a “largely unknown but fantastic band”—has set out, following their debut album “foin,” to explore all forms of patriarchal and hegemonic fallacies. The whole thing is wrapped up in an exciting mix of downtempo, jazz, electronic, blues, and pop.

Ingrid Lang’s poetic use of the Viennese dialect and her eerily beautiful vocals combine with the multi-layered sound of Lukas Lauermann’s cello, Karl Stirner’s liberated zither, Sebastian Seidl’s warm Rhodes and synth pads, and Johannes Wakolbinger’s delicate, precise drumming to create an atmospheric listening experience.

Slow, multi-layered, and uncompromising, woschdog has been carving out its own unique sonic spaces within the local music scene since its debut album “foin.”
