For 20 years, this hit show by the “Rapidler of the Century” and the iconic Viennese band has been running regularly to sold-out audiences in concert halls across Austria.

Outside, it might already be Christmas white—ideally, sugar-sweet snow is even falling from the sky. Inside, at any rate, these pre-Christmas evenings will be true “White Christmases” just as they should be: delightful, cozy, and lively. But also kitschy, down-to-earth, and honest.

The concert’s musical repertoire ranges from well-known American song gems to hits and rarities. Songs like “Happy Xmas (War Is Over)” by John Lennon and “White Christmas” by Bing Crosby will be performed, as well as “Home” by Michael Bublé and “Winter Wonderland” or “Let It Snow” in the style of Dean Martin.

It’s both touching and cheerful when “Goleador” Johann K. reads a few letters from children around the world from the book “Dear Santa” in between songs.
