Even when he covers songs, people in the audience are said to be moved to tears. His EP 'Live At Phil Grimes', which he recorded in a pub, immediately reached number 1 in the Irish independent charts. The Irish song tradition he loves is skillfully transported into the present.

Sondre Lerche:
Sondre Lerche wrote his first songs at the age of 13. He was allowed to perform them in the club where his sister worked. At 20, Lerche was awarded the Spellemannprisen, the most important music prize in his native Norway.

The musician from Bergen has now recorded 15 albums. These include the film music for "Dan in Real Life". His latest work "Acrobats" will be released on time for Blue Bird.

Elin Hall:
In her native Iceland, 27-year-old Elín Sif Halldórsdóttir is regarded as one of the greatest talents. As an actress and as a singer/songwriter. Prizes, chart successes and acclaimed shows are proof of this. Her first songs were still in Icelandic. Now she is on her way to conquering the world.

Flora Hibberd:
Actually born in London, Flora Hibberd has considered herself French since she was a teenager. Her second album "Mammoth" was released before Blue Bird. At times she moves between guitar- and synth-driven pop, at others she draws on traditional songs from the 17th century. The often complex lyrics are full of allusions. For fans of Aldous Harding.

Eli:
Very soulful and honest Coming Of Age - Indie Pop in which the Australian comes to terms with his difficult childhood as a queer person. Emotional and rebellious lyrics are delivered by a powerful yet delicate voice that rises above a gigantic wall of pop production. Live, he plans to perform a lot on the piano.
