Is empathy, as Elon Musk claims, “the decisive weakness of Western civilization”? Or is it that this civilization has surrendered itself to people like Musk?

Are we really better off when others are worse off? Does an asshole become electable if it’s “our asshole”?

Is it still okay these days to say everywhere that you’re not allowed to say anything anywhere anymore? And what is satire actually allowed to do?
