Every year, MONTI BETON celebrates a concert evening at the Metropol with music from the greatest and most successful band in pop & rock music history. The cult band takes the audience on a musical journey through the 60s with lots of background stories and bon mots.

1966 was full of highlights: The seventh studio album "Revolver" was released in August. Also in August, the Beatles gave their last paid concert at Candlestick Park in San Francisco, mainly due to the enormous stress of touring and the screaming fans drowning out the music. Having decided to stop performing live, they began to experiment more intensively with sound technology. This creative phase manifested itself in another legendary album that was to change pop music worldwide: Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Recording began in November 1966.

On this evening, Monti Beton will perform many examples from this period live and with a large line-up: "Taxman", "Paperback Writer", "Yellow Submarine", "For No One". In addition, other world hits such as "Lady Madonna", "Let It Be", "Get Back", "Ob la di ob la da", "Here comes the sun", "A Day In The Life" and many more.

Of course, there are also individual song gems from the artists' solo career to sprinkle on top. After all, John, Paul, George and Ringo were top sellers with guaranteed worldwide hits for decades after 1970.
