20 years ago, the now legendary Schrammel.Klang.Festival in Litschau in the northern Waldviertel opened its doors with this piece.
The success story took its course and the festival became Austria's undisputed cultural flagship. Just in time for the anniversary, the original cast of this great piece of musical theater has been reunited.
Without being a didactic play, the story of the famous Viennese Schrammel brothers Johann and Josef is told here and, above all, the difference between Hamur and humor is clarified. The actors are musically doubled by the Neue Wiener Concert Schrammeln.
