A musical highlight awaits the audience on the Stockerau festival stage: Carl Orff's Carmina Burana, impressively performed by the Donauphilharmonie Stockerau.
A chamber choir under the direction of Christian Kneissl, the children's choir "Lauter Leiser" from Niederleis (Sigrid Pacher) and the soloists Magdalena Severin (soprano), Bernd Hemedinger (tenor) and Simon Ralph Xaver (baritone) take part.
Tom Gröger is the overall conductor.

The work is based on medieval poems from the 11th and 12th centuries and is one of the most impressive and well-known compositions in classical music today.
