They met as teenagers:
Rudi Dolezal (17) as a young editor of the TV program "Ohne Maulkorb" (ORF) - when he "professionally" attended the very first concert of the then newly founded underground band "Hallucination Company" with bassist Hans Hölzel (18, not yet "Falco") in Vienna as a volunteer - and they quickly became close afterwards in the artists' dressing room over vodka and "green cigarettes that smelled funny".

Rudi (17) met Hansi (18).

They later became friends, Rudi helped his friend Hansi make his first appearance on television and Dolezal ended up directing all FALCO videos - from "Rock Me Amadeus", "Jeanny" to "Emotional", "Mutter der Mann mit dem Koks ist da" to the posthumous "The Spirit Never Dies" (many of them with his partner at the time, Rossacher)

- AND they had a worldwide hit together:

He is the first Austrian with a German-language song to reach number 1 in the famous "Billboard" charts in the USA! (Unrivaled to this day). DoRo's video was the most played video worldwide in 1986 and still has 100 million clicks today.
