After the anniversary year 2019 - 40 years under the direction of Petja Houdjakov - and the difficult time of the coronavirus crisis, the Bolshoi Don Cossacks want to offer their audience an unforgettable artistic experience. The famous male choir is looking forward to a festive encounter with friends of Russian music on December 23 at 7.30 pm in the Vienna Konzerthaus.

The traditional Christmas concert has become an integral part of Vienna's cultural landscape. Once again this year, the program includes an artistically high-quality multimedia program with Russian sacred songs, folk songs and international Christmas carols. Popular songs such as "Abendglocke" and "Kalinka" will be performed, as well as new songs and fiery, lively dance interludes.
