Info
With his extremely lifelike portrayal of the detective inspector Trautmann, chamber actor Wolfgang Böck has written a piece of local TV history. A film character that has lost none of its incredible popularity even after numerous reruns. As a result, the Viennese police even respectfully named the public's favorite an "honorary policeman".
The new stage program "Trautmann lacht" (Trautmann laughs) is intended to prove that daily police work is not just about murder, robbery and other gruesome crimes. Funny anecdotes that have actually happened, but also those written by great humorists, prove on the one hand the sometimes warm-hearted way the uniformed officers deal with curious incidents, but also that the law enforcement officers are not forbidden to laugh while on duty and can sometimes even laugh at themselves with a big wink.
Wolfgang Böck has spent months compiling stories and anecdotes that not only guarantee 90 minutes of hearty laughter, but also offer a brief but extremely interesting glimpse into the history of law enforcement.
