Who hasn't experienced this? You only remember the first one or two lines of a song, and then.... Tralala... yawning lyric emptiness in the brain.

No idea what happens next! Or do you know all the Christmas songs - lyrics from "Drummerboy" to "Es wird scho glei dumpa"! Yes, "Merry, merry Tralalalala, soon it will be".... you know what happens next anyway! And "Es hat sich halt eröffnet das himmlische TOR, TOR, TOR, i wer narrisch!" is clearly the wrong text.

The humorous duo Herbert Steinböck and Thomas M. Strobl have been a congenial pair since their Simpl days together and turn this text embarrassment into an entertainment program, a "Weihnachtstralala" in keeping with the season!

They sing, earworm, croon, warble, yodel and joke their way through the entire history of (Christmas) music. The melodies follow one after the other, and by the time you recognize them, they're already over! Important things are discussed: What do presents under the Christmas tree think?

Why does dad only come home with the Christmas tree he bought in the New Year? Why is mom happy anyway: "Papadaham, Papadaham, Papadaham" at last. (Melody: Drummerboy) An evening peppered with delicious sketches and wonderful (Christmas) ideas. And of course "Wien Hütteldorf, Wien Hütteldorf" (see below), the legendary ÖBB Christmas party sketch, is not to be missed. And under the motto: "Cheers, join in!", we will set our New Year's resolutions together!
The highlight of the evening is a dancing New Year's Eve firework display.
