Dieter Nuhr is and remains the chronicler of comedy in chaos - a man who looks at the world as if it were constantly trying to provide him with material. And he never disappoints. While times turn upside down and the news often rushes by in a sprint, Nuhr sorts through the confusion, finds the humor in the daily madness and packs it freshly and compactly into his typical punch lines. Because even if everything becomes more complicated, Nuhr makes it surprisingly simple: you just have to laugh.
Nuhr's irony still has the same fine touch, but it now encounters a world that shines in ever new capers. His honest amazement and his famous "KEIN SCHERZ!" are constantly encountering new absurdities. And as usual, Nuhr transforms every mental stumbling block into a sometimes surprising sequence of humor, logic and head-shaking.
The basis of his satire remains close observation - this time in a present that is changing faster than you can say "breaking news". Nuhr once again takes his audience on a clever and wonderfully entertaining journey through times that pose new riddles every day. In doing so, he shows why he is still one of the most talked-about voices on German stages: if you want to comment on the world, you have to endure it. If you want to understand it in a mostly satirical way, you should go and see Nuhr.
And because the world is constantly changing, this program doesn't stand still either. The constant flood of the absurd constantly provides fresh material - and Nuhr builds, screws and refines until the present becomes a stage and the stage becomes an evening that has never been experienced before. If you come back a year later, you'll be amazed at what's new.
At the end, you leave the show with a kind of cheerful resilience: the problems are still there - but suddenly they seem more bearable. Perhaps even logical. At least for one evening. So Nuhr on tour remains what it always was: laughter and life advice in one. Only new. Because the times are new. And because standing still is not Nuhr's thing.
