Volbeat

Volbeat is a Danish rock band that was founded in Copenhagen in 2001. Their style combines elements of rock'n'roll, heavy metal, rockabilly and punk, which gives them a unique musical identity. Frontman Michael Poulsen characterizes the band with his distinctive voice and songwriting.

After a creative break and health challenges, Volbeat 2025 returns with full force. Their ninth studio album "God Of Angels Trust" will be released on June 6, 2025, featuring ten new songs - including the single By a Monster's Hand, which is already causing a stir. The album was once again recorded with producer Jacob Hansen and shows an experimental side of the band that consciously breaks away from classic song structures.

To coincide with the release, Volbeat are embarking on their "Greatest Of All Tours Worldwide", an international tour with stops in Canada, the USA, Great Britain and Europe. In Germany, the schedule includes concerts in Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich and Vienna.

The current line-up consists of Michael Poulsen (vocals, guitar), Jon Larsen (drums) and Kaspar Boye Larsen (bass). Following the departure of guitarist Rob Caggiano in 2023, the band will be joined by tour guitarist Flemming C. Lund will join the band.

Volbeat remains one of the most successful European rock bands, with numerous chart positions and a loyal fan base worldwide. Their comeback in 2025 marks a new chapter - powerful, creative and uncompromising.
