GREEN DAY

Green Day is an American rock band that has been causing a stir worldwide since the late 1980s with its energetic punk rock, socially critical lyrics and catchy melodies. Founded by Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt in California, the band became internationally known with the album Dookie (1994). With works such as American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown, they not only left their mark on the music scene, but also on a generation.
