Alligatoah

Alligatoah, born on September 28, 1989 in Langen, is Lukas Strobel by real name. He is a German musician who works as a rapper, singer, guitarist, producer, composer and songwriter. In the early stages of his career, the name Alligatoah stood for a fictional hip-hop band consisting of the two fictional characters Kaliba 69 (rapper) and DJ Deagle (producer), whose roles Strobel himself took on and embodied.

His style is strongly influenced by battlerap, which he uses not as an end in itself but as a narrative device. In an interview, he once said: "For me, battling was always a tool, I used battle to tell a story." Unlike many artists in the rap scene, who place great value on authenticity, Alligatoah describes himself as an "acting rapper", which underlines his ironic and satirical approach.
