The Next Generation

Clear the stage for the stars of tomorrow: on 22 June 2026, the Raimund Theater will become a stage for the next generation of musicals for one evening. Vereinigte Bühnen Wien (VBW) and the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK) are presenting the successful concert format WE ARE MUSICAL - THE NEXT GENERATION for the eighth time.

The focus will be on the graduates of the Institute for Musical Entertainment Theater (MUNTER), who will present highlights from the world of musicals in a varied program. The concert offers an exclusive insight into their training and also marks the transition to their professional careers.

Visitors can also look forward to special musical moments in 2026: In addition to the young talents, selected star guests will join the graduates on stage. The evening will be hosted by director and MUK lecturer Werner Sobotka and MUNTER Institute Director Alex. Riener. A live band under the direction of Peter Uwira will provide the musical accompaniment.
