In the course of his work on the musical THE MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET (2021/22), Werner Auer, who played the role of the charismatic country singer Johnny Cash in this production, discovered his love for his music. Now he has turned this love into a full-length program in which, together with the exceptional guitarist Bernhard Krinner, he traces the musical career of Johnny Cash from his first hits "Hey Porter" and "Folsom Prison Blues" to evergreens such as "Walk the Line" and "Ring of Fire" to his late works such as "Personal Jesus" and "Hurt" from the legendary "American Recordings".
