Baroque masterpieces played on original instruments bring the sound of the period in which they were written to life and open up direct access to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries.
In the vocal climax and conclusion of the series, the vocal styles of France, Italy, the German-speaking world and England stand side by side. The regional characteristics become audible when the musical expression is closely interwoven with the rhythm, timbre and accentuation of the respective language.
Established as Austria's smallest opera house and concert hall, the performances in the KRYPTA captivate with their intensity, high quality and unusual venue.
