Baroque masterpieces played on original instruments bring the sound of the period in which they were written to life and open up direct access to the music of the 17th and 18th centuries.
The selection of works in 'Kaiserliche Melange' makes it possible to hear how Italian and French music had an impact on the German-speaking world, with very different effects in a small space and very different results.
Established as Austria's smallest opera house and concert hall, the performances at the KRYPTA impress with their intensity, high quality and unusual venue. Located deep beneath Vienna's St. Peter's Church, the intimate hall offers a personal experience that attracts guests from all over the world.
The KRYPTA is pleasantly temperate at any time of year.

Program:
Georg Philipp Telemann: from the "Essercizii musici" Sonata no. 7 in D minor
Wilhelmine von Bayreuth: Flute Sonata in A minor
