WANDL moves in a state between reality and dream - psychedelic, vague, flowing. His fascination with bass-heavy, lo-fi soundscapes creates a sound that seems to come from another dimension.

As a complete artist, WANDL not only composes, produces and sings; he also designs the artwork and videos himself - a multi-layered universe in which music, images and atmosphere intertwine. His influences reach deep into soul, hip-hop, electronic and club music. Nothing about it is smooth: the most beautiful moments always have something brittle, fragile and warped about them.

His lyrics leave space - they open doors into a world whose contradictions overwhelm many. From Vienna, WANDL searches for moments of liberation, and his voice changes like a living being that merges with the languages and moods.

The result is a floating refuge of shadows and longings: dark and playful, delicate and sharp-edged at the same time. Music like faded memories in the airstream - emotionally accurate, physically tangible, always in search of the real thing.
