Three storytellers at work: Franz Hautzinger, Matthias Loibner and Peter Rosmanith have been friends for many years - and under the name Brot & Sterne they have found a captivating musical language that moves between jazz, film music and world sound, between silence and explosion, between earth and dream.

With trumpet, hurdy-gurdy, percussion and inexhaustible imagination, they create a sound that opens up spaces - atmospherically dense, colorful, narrative. Every improvisation becomes a landscape, every melody a place, every silence a breath. Her music describes nothing - it creates images: luminous, enigmatic and deeply moving.

Her CD "Tales of Herbst" was released by the Berlin label Traumton and was awarded the Ö1 Pasticcio Prize.
The ensemble composed the music for the Ö1 radio play production "Das Wechselbälgchen" by Christine Lavant - the work was voted radio play of the year by the audience in 2015 and was published as a sound book by Mandelbaum Verlag.
