Founded twenty years ago, the legendary Eldis La Rosa Group is now returning to the stage - with fresh energy and the unmistakable sound of Cuba in its luggage. The Cuban multi-instrumentalist Eldis La Rosa is making Cuban jazz glow again in Austria.

Since the release of his album Trotando (2006), inspired by Paquito D'Rivera's boundless Latin jazz, La Rosa has continued to develop his style: powerful Cuban traditions meet contemporary grooves, jazzy freedom and improvisational wit.

As the only Cuban jazz formation in Austria, the Eldis La Rosa Group is back with mature compositions and a pulsating band sound - a comeback that celebrates all the warmth, intensity and colorfulness of Cuban jazz.
