Raga, tala and boundless improvisation
Haider Khan Gorau, Mehtab Ali Niazi and S. Akash invite you on a musical journey into the world of Indian classical music. Deeply rooted in millennia-old traditions, this music combines precise rhythmic cycles (tala) with expressive melodic frameworks (raga) - and opens up space for free, lively improvisation. Every performance is unique, every note full of history and emotion.
Haider Khan Gorau comes from a traditional family of musicians in Rajasthan and moves confidently between classical Indian music, folk music, jazz and interdisciplinary projects. Mehtab Ali Niazi began his musical journey as a child, has received many awards and plays in concerts and festivals worldwide. S. Akash, one of India's youngest flute virtuosos, brings his skills to classical concerts, film projects and contemporary formats alike.
Together they create a world of sound that combines Far Eastern tradition, masterful technique and creative freedom - an intense, moving listening experience for all the senses.
Haider Khan Gorau - Tabla, Mehtab Ali Niazi - Sitar, S. Akash - Bansuri
