Söndörgö XXX - Sargfabrik

Info
What happens when the originality of South Slavic folk music meets the sophistication of classical composition, the energy of rock and the clear thinking of Bartók? The result is the unmistakable Söndörgő sound - virtuosic, lively, always on the move and yet full of humor.
Four of the five musicians come from the same family: three brothers and a cousin from the legendary Hungarian Eredics family of musicians. Inspired by the legendary Vujicsics Ensemble, they bring the heritage of South Slavic folk music into the present with curiosity, improvisation and technical brilliance.
Their latest album Gyezz (recorded with jazz saxophonist Chris Potter) has stormed the international charts, reaching number 1 twice - on the World Music Charts Europe and the Songlines Charts. Jazzwise called them "authentic preservers and at the same time radical innovators of South Slavic music".
For their 30th anniversary, Söndörgő invite you on a new sound journey - with fresh pieces, great emotions and lots of joy in playing. The Balkans meet the future - and the energy is guaranteed to be infectious.
Áron Eredics - tambura, derbuka, voice, Benjamin Eredics - tambura, trumpet, voice, Dávid Eredics - clarinet, saxophone, kaval, tambura, voice, Salamon Eredics - accordion, shepherd's flute, tambura, Attila BUZÁS - tambura, tapan, voice
