Gile Bae is one of the most exciting pianists of her generation. She enchanted her first audience at the age of five and celebrated international success early on. She won three Steinway competitions, but is now a Bösendorfer Artist - "because the piano sounds better to me", as she says herself. She now performs all over the world: most recently on a celebrated tour of South America, next year in Asia with stops such as the Seoul Arts Center and on another tour of South America. Her debut with the Camerata Salzburg follows in 2026. What sets her apart is not only her technical brilliance and unmistakable stage presence, but above all her ability to perform music with genuine emotion, excitement and vibrancy.
